This year, Rifflandia has created a free magazine to accompany the festival. It features 80+ pages of interviews, editorials, photo spreads and other bits of information and eye candy related to Rifflandia and Victoria. The good folks at Scum Creative Labs have out done themselves, yet again. Look for a copy at any of our sponsor locations and venues, as well as our festival HQ (523 Pandora).

Olio Gallery will be presenting the Live!Stock 09 Poster Exhibition as a visual counterpart to Rifflandia again this year!

They’ve upped the anti & commissioned 12 premier poster artists from throughout North America to celebrate Rifflandia’s performers with 12 original posters to be printed & framed as numbered edition 18×24” serigraphs.

Live!Stock 09 opens Friday, September 18th, at the Olio Artists & Workers Cooperative, beginning at 7:00pm.

A special advance viewing of Live!Stock will be held this coming Monday, September 14th at 3:00pm at the Olio Artists & Workers Cooperative, 614 1/2 Fisgard st.

Brain Trust - Book Launch , Art Show & Musical Performance.

A book of collaborative drawings and paintings by James Kirkpatrick (Aka Thesis) & Peter Thompson.

Brain Trust is a compilation of collaborative drawings and paintings produced by Peter Thompson and James Kirkpatrick. Peter and James have been working together on drawings since 2000. Peter with a history of doodling and zine making and James with a background in graffiti. Their artwork has a non-linear narrative that incorporates a pseudo comic-book aesthetic and multiple references to popular culture.

This book launch/art show will be the first display of James and Peter’s art in Victoria, as well as a special musical performance by  the duo. Free limited edition poster for attendees with Rifflandia wristbands! Kick off your Rifflandia evening at the Boucherat Gallery.

The map shows where you can find our 8 venues, and 50 wristband connect locations.
